While it remains unclear whether Zuckerberg's training is specifically in preparation for the rumored bout with Musk, the rivalry between the two tech titans has primarily played out in the digital realm. What began as a series of indirect tweets eventually led to text exchanges between Zuckerberg and Musk.
Musk had previously hinted that the much-anticipated fight would be live-streamed on his platform, X, formerly known as Twitter. However, Zuckerberg appeared less optimistic, noting on X's competitor platform, Threads, that he had proposed a date to Musk, but the confirmation was still pending.
In a recent Instagram post shared on Friday, November 3, Zuckerberg provided an insight into his recovery journey. The post featured four photographs, with the initial image depicting the Meta co-founder in a hospital gown with his left leg elevated. The subsequent images displayed his leg secured in a brace, followed by a touching moment where his wife, Priscilla Chan, cared for him as she wiped his forehead. In the final image, a cast was being placed on his left foot.

Notably, in both the first and second images, Zuckerberg's hand is clenched in a determined fist, underscoring his unwavering resolve. His Instagram caption conveyed his gratitude for the medical team and doctors overseeing his care and revealed the unfortunate delay in his MMA fight, which he had been diligently preparing for. However, Zuckerberg affirmed his commitment to returning to training after a full recovery and expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the outpouring of love and support from his well-wishers.
The caption reads: "Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it. Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me. I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that's delayed a bit. Still looking forward to doing it after I recover. Thanks to everyone for the love and support."
