01Paid Media

Your Brain Stops
For What It
Already Knows.

A friend's face. A name you recognise. A team you follow, a joke you like, a company you already buy from. Everything unfamiliar gets filtered out before you consciously see it — and an unfamiliar brand is exactly what your advertising is.

Check yourself honestly. Between Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Reddit and Telegram, people open something twenty to forty times a day. How many adverts do you remember from yesterday? Now think about how many were shown to you — and paid for by somebody.

Every one of those was paid for, clicked or not. Now imagine a thousand impressions where every single one stopped somebody — that is the entire job.

02Same Person, Different Head

One Human.
Nine Rooms.
Nine Moods.

We talk about platforms as if they were pipes carrying the same water. They are not. The same person walks into each one with a different reason — and an ad that fits one room is furniture in the next. Tap a room.

03Vertical And Region Change Everything

The Channel Mix Is
Never The Same Twice

Facebook, Instagram and Threads sit under one company and still behave differently market to market. TikTok, LinkedIn, X and Telegram diverge further again, and the vertical changes the answer on top of that. Any universal recipe falls apart on contact.

We have run campaigns across a great many markets worldwide. Six examples below, deliberately chosen from different industries and different regions — so the pattern is visible rather than the exception.

You tell us the markets and what a result means to you — qualified leads, first deposits or sales. Our system then decides where the budget goes: which channels convert in that country, which ones waste money there, and where the same spend produces more. Most clients do not know that answer in advance. Finding it is the job.

04How Attention Actually Moves

Six Things Happen
Before The Money Does

Every one of them can end the journey, and every one is somebody's job. Usually a different somebody, in a different company, who never speaks to the others.

05The Credit Problem

Whatever The Report Says,
Something Started It.

Sometimes attribution is right. Often it credits the last thing that happened rather than the thing that caused it. Somebody scrolls past your page — not even an advert — and moves on. Then they take a screenshot, save it to notes, copy the link, send it to themselves, search the name later, type the address straight in, open it in a private window, or come back through a different device entirely.

Each of those lands in a different row of the report — direct, organic, referral, paid search, social — and none of them names what actually started it.

None of those reports mention the thing that started it. Owners read them and reasonably conclude paid social is not working — which is why we look at what the platform can actually show: click-through rate, engagement, video views, comments, leads. And where a sales team exists, we simply ask them where people say they heard of you.

When that still is not enough, there is one experiment that settles it. We have run it more than once.

A month of trading spent proving a channel deserves its budget. Not because the channel was weak — because the reporting model was never built to show it. More on attribution and analytics.

06Cross-Channel

Sometimes You Know.
Often You Do Not.

Occasionally the answer is easy — a sales team asks where somebody heard of you, and they say Facebook. Occasionally somebody sees an ad and buys the same minute.

More often the route wanders. They see an ad, forget it, search the name a week later, watch a video, read a review site, ask a forum, come back through retargeting, and convert on a Tuesday.

Watch the dot. It takes a different route every time. Which is why channels are planned together rather than judged separately.

Route 1

07The Channel You Own

A Notification Lands
Differently Than An Inbox

Email has been around long enough that most people have learned to postpone it. Messages pile up, and plenty are never opened at all.

A message in a channel someone chose to join arrives while the phone is already in their hand. There is noise there too — people mute what they do not care about. Which is exactly the point: whoever stays actually wants to hear from you.

Bloggers, news outlets, media, brands and individuals all run channels for exposure and branding. Traffic paid for once can keep working for months when it lands somewhere you own rather than somewhere you rent.

Reach Of One Message

Directional, not a promise — the gap varies by list, market and how the audience was built. The direction, though, is consistent.

08What You Still Control

Plenty Of Dials Remain.
One Decides Most Of It.

Placements are still yours — you can run stories only if you want to. Bid caps are still yours. Audiences are still built by hand. What changed is that delivery decides who actually sees what, and it decides using the creative you hand it.

Who controls whatFeeding creative
Nobody can tell you in advance which angle will win — if anyone claims they can, ask them how. What can be improved is the cost of every impression, the click-through rate, and how much engagement and social proof the ad collects on the way. That is what makes the same budget buy more.

09How A Launch Actually Runs

Plan A, Plan B,
And The One After That

Creative fatigues. How fast depends on the budget, the audience size and the market, so nobody can hand you a date. What can be done is never being caught without the next one ready.

Can We Do Better?

We ask it while things are still working, not after they stop. Part of the budget stays on testing — new angles, new formats, new offers — so the next creative is warm before the current one cools. Usually the difference between a dip and a dead month.

10Where The Trick Lives

Two Identical Ads.
One Word Different.

Everything on both is the same except the button. Nobody wants to hand over their details to a stranger — so asking for them directly is the hardest version of the request, and it is the one most accounts use by default.

Version B · one word changed

Why That Works

"Get started" asks for commitment. Everyone has seen it a thousand times, and it signals a form on the other side. "Where should we send it" asks for an address so you can receive something — the same action, a completely different feeling.

Whether a lead magnet suits your category, what is worth giving away, and how it is framed changes with every industry. There are a lot of these, and this is the one we are happy to publish.

11Where Marketing Stops

In Some Industries It Ends
At Approval. In Ours It Does Not.

Plenty of agencies finish when the ad is live. In verticals with a sales team, marketing hands over and walks away. In restricted verticals there is often nobody to hand over to — so the funnel has to carry the customer to the deposit on its own.

We build to the money event either way — and where a sales team does exist, we build so they have less work to do, not more. That is what the Anaxeo System is for.

Restricted

Crypto, crypto gambling, iGaming, casino, betting, trading, payday lending, adult, nutra and more. Rarely a sales team. Money event: first deposit.

Regulated

Forex and CFD, fintech, financial SaaS, insurance, claims, trading education, medical and more. A sales team is usually waiting. Money event: qualified lead.

White Niches

E-commerce, SaaS, B2B, automotive, EdTech, services, broadband, home improvement, real estate and more. Money event: the sale, tracked to the order.

Complex Products

Products nobody has heard of yet, or launching into a crowded market. Here paid media builds the understanding before anything can be sold.

12Why Not Just Search

Search Runs Out.
This Usually Does Not.

Paid search is capped by how many people type the thing. Paid media is capped by budget and creative. Move the slider.

Paid Search
Paid Media
Neither replaces the other. Search takes the demand that exists, paid media creates the rest — and the split depends on your vertical, country and margin, never on a template. See paid search.
